So Clockenflap was this last weekend and it was a ball! I’m so thrilled Hong Kong is becoming more pro active with the HK music scene. With Hong Kong fashion, local designers are everywhere and talent is always celebrated here whether you’re a local designer or international, its time we shifted our focus to music…
HK natives know that going to a concert like J.Lo who was here was week is going to start at $800 HKD and go up into the $1000s so an event like this with tons of attractions, music and activities for everyone at a price starting at $390 is revolutionary for Hong Kong’s music scene.
I got to see tons of bands but sadly missed some people due to the long lines and being slightly hung over…
Sneaky Sound System, !!!, Azealia Banks, De La Soul, Tiga, 9 Maps, Push were some that we saw.
Unfortunately I only brought my camera on Sunday because I had checked their website and it stated that they didn’t allow professional cameras. So because i was worried my camera was going to be taken from me, I didn’t bring it on Saturday. Come Saturday I aaw people everywhere with professional cameras without any sort of press identification in sight, so check it….
YES 9 MAPS!!
“BORED OF MAINSTREAM FASHION?”
DE LA SOUL
TIGA: So I was so excited to see Tiga after De La Soul but it seemed like the whole NEW ERA team and sound crew left which managed to mess up Tiga’s set.
It was hardly noticeable but it must have bothered the fuck out of him.
Not fair on Tiga : (
“SORRY NOT MY FAULT BAD SOUND”
Did you go?
