I thought I’d dedicate this post to one of my favourite photographers, Guy Bourdin, a french photographer.

Bourdin was the first photographer to create a complex narrative, then snatch a moment — sensual, provocative, shocking, exotic, surrealistic, sometimes sinister — and simply associate it with a fashion item. The narratives were strange and mysterious, sometimes full of violence, sexuality, and surrealism.

He wanted all of his work destroyed after his death but luckily because he wasn’t a fan of keeping his own work, his images are still around today and his son released various books celebrating his work.
I can’t wait to get my hands on them
